Washington, Sha'ban 6, 1435, Jun 4, 2014, SPA -- A severe storm system that caused flash floods and hit homes and cars with large chunks of hail in the central United States is expected to bring high winds, more hail, and possible tornadoes to the Ohio Valley on Wednesday, forecasters said. Southern Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, southern Ohio, West Virginia, and Tennessee are in the path of the storm system, meteorologists said. “It doesn’t appear to be as bad” as Tuesday, said forecaster Bill Bunting of the National Storm Prediction Center. “I think we’ll see reports of damaging winds and large hail, and maybe an isolated tornado.” Storms hit parts of the central United States on Tuesday with reports of large hail that smashed homes and vehicles in Nebraska and high winds that ripped roofs off homes in Iowa. There were 13 reports of tornadoes in Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas. --SPA 21:57 LOCAL TIME 18:57 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
