Riyadh, Sha'ban 28, 1435, Jun 26, 2014, SPA -- Directorate General of Passports has carried out, via its electronic service named "Abshir" System, at the portal of the Ministry of Interior, more than six million transactions included nine security services contributed to the facilitation of most of citizens and residents' daily transactions automatically without the need to go to the Passport Department to end them. Inaugurated in 2011 by Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, the Passport Department has started providing its services electronically via Abshir system, to enable its beneficiaries of citizens and expatriates finish their procedures electronically by registering in the system through e-mail account registration.
