Pak FM bids Saudi ambassador Al-Ghadir farewell on end of tenure

Riyadh, Sha'ban 4, 1435, Jun 2, 2014, SPA -- Pakistan's Foreign Minister Sirtaj Aziz held a luncheon here today in honor of the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir to bid him farewell on the occasion of the end of his term of office as his country's ambassador to Pakistan. Addressing the elite attendance, Aziz said his country is linked with ideal relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that the leadership of Pakistan attaches great attention to its ties with Riyadh and always gearing forward to enhancing them in all fields. He said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is playing a leading role at the regional and international levels, in addition to his interest in the issues of the Islamic Ummah amid the current challenges facing the region, confirming that Pakistan considers its relations with the Kingdom as a source of strength and pride. He lauded the efforts exerted by ambassador Al-Ghadir to further enhance bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries at all levels, noting the he considers him the most active ambassador, given the ideal and distinguished efforts he exerted to enhance the ties of fraternity between the two countries, citing his efforts during the 2010 and 2011 floods. For his part, Al-Ghadir confirmed that the efforts he has exerted during his tenure were a result of the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his keenness to enforce Saudi Arabia's commitment to stand by the side of Islamic and friendly countries.
