Tripoli, Libya, Rajab 20, 1435, May 19, 2014, SPA -- The Saudi ambassador to Libya Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Ali announced that his embassy and consulate in Tripoli, Libya, have temporarily suspended actives and closed today. In a statement to SPA, the ambassador said all the mission's diplomats have left the Libyan capital of Tripoli on board a special flight due to the deteriorating security situation in the North African Arab country. He added that the departure of the mission's staff was coordinated with the host side due to the current security circumstances and that the mission would re-open once the situation in Tripoli was stable. "we are in contact with the Libyan side on all developments", he said. --SPA 17:19 LOCAL TIME 14:19 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
