Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks on Tuesday with a number of heads and members of think tanks and research during his official visit to Brussels. Discussions focused on the importance of strategic relations between the Kingdom and the European Union and their role in consolidating the security and stability of the region and the world. They highlighted joint challenges and the Kingdom’s position towards them, tweeted the Foreign Ministry. They also tackled Saudi Arabia’s efforts to reach a political solution to end the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. Officials reviewed the most significant initiatives and projects of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its bid to host Expo 2030. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Belgium Dr. Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Jandan, head of the Saudi Mission to the EU Ambassador Saad Mohammed Alarify and Director-General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
