RIYADH: King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to Kosovar president Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu on the anniversary of her countrys independence day, Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday. In his cable, the king expressed his best wishes, including continuous good health and happiness for Osmani-Sadriu and for progress and prosperity for the government and people of Kosovo. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also sent a similar cable on Friday, SPA reported. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008.
