Washington, Jul 2, 2021, SPA -- After days of record temperatures, the Canadian town of Lytton has been almost completely destroyed by fire. Around 90 per cent of Lytton was burned down, including the entire village center, dpa quoted Canadian lawmaker Brad Vis as saying Thursday. More than 1,000 people had to flee. Town Mayor Jan Polderman said he saw white smoke on the southern edge of the town and within 15 to 20 minutes, flames had taken over the whole town, Canadian media reported.
