Riyadh, January 21, 2021, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Naif Falah Al-Hajraf condemned today a bombing that targeted a market in Tayaran Square in central Baghdad. This bombing resulted in many innocent deaths and injuries. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the GCC Secretary General expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. He affirmed the GCC solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in combating terrorism and enhancing security and stability in its territories.
