Paris, May 8, 2020, SPA -- Dr. Hani bin Talal Al-Jahani, the Saudi surgeon working at a hospital, in the French city of Colmar, managed to remove a brain tumor of a Kuwaiti girl, who has come to Paris to undergo the operation, but a famous French surgeon declined to conduct it, in the last moments, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Dr. Al-Jahani said that the Medical Attaché Office, at the Kuwaiti embassy, in Paris, contacted a number of hospitals to give hand to the girl, but all such efforts went in vain as the calls were rejected. However, as the office contacted me, he added, I suggested to the hospital, where I'm working to do the surgery, with no fruits. But because I insisted and pressed for that, for two-week long, finally they gave me the green light to do the surgery, which was a success. The operation took 7-hour and while the inmate was to remain in the hospital for 10 days, she was released in only 4-day. --SPA 20:44 LOCAL TIME 17:44 GMT 0015 www.spa.gov.sa/w1324360
