United Nations, April 04, 2019, SPA -- Three group projects conducted by female and male youths belonging to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Egypt have snatched the first top prizes at the Green Innovations Contest, organized by the United Nations Regional Bureau for Environment for West Asia and UNEDO office for Investment and Enhancement of Technology in Bahrain, it was reported here today. A press release issued by the organizing authorities, said the contest targeted university students in the Middle East and North Africa to stimulate and enhance their abilities of innovation and entrepreneur and give them chance to induce positive influence on their societies through tackling environmental issues and challenges using social and technological solutions.
