10th Meeting of ISESCO Archeology Experts Committee convenes to address Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque

Rabat, 4 April, 2019, SPA-- The works of the tenth meeting of The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Archeology Experts Committee in charge of preparing technical reports on Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity started here today in presence of member countries of Palestine, Jordan, Egypt in addition to delegation from Moroccan Ministry of Culture and a representative from Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency. ISESCO is fully aware of all dangers and challenges that Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity face as well as the violations committed by extremists and settlers, said Director General of ISESCO, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri in a speech delivered on his behalf at the opening session. He demanded facing up these continued violations, providing more support and assistance to the people of Palestine and firming up their resolve. He stressed that ISESCO will go on its work to support activities that lead to culture and heritage preservation of AlQuds city; safeguard the Islamic holy sites in AlQuds and also expose the Israeli violations against AlAqsa Mosque. --SPA 14:06 LOCAL TIME 11:06 GMT 0009 www.spa.gov.sa/w1079277
