Amman, January 15, 2019, SPA -- Jordan Tuesday has agreed to a United Nations request to host a meeting between representatives of the Yemeni government and Iranian-backed Houthi militias to discuss a prisoner swap deal, a foreign ministry statement said. According to the statement released by the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs spokesperson, ambassador Sufyian Al-Qudah said that Jordan has accepted a request by the special United Nations envoy for Yemen to host the talks.
