Saudi, Japanese Scientists and Researchers Brief the Japanese on Kingdom's Cultural Heritage 2 Tokyo

This came during a symposium entitled "Masterpieces of Antiquities and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" organized by the Arab Islamic Institute in Tokyo yesterday, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Japan Ahmed bin Younis Al-Barrak and a number of ambassadors of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries as well as archeologists of Japanese Universities as part of Roads of Arabia Expo currently being held by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage at the National Museum in Tokyo. The symposium was opened by the Director of the Arab Islamic Institute in Tokyo, Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Amaim who delivered a speech in which he stressed that the Kingdom's leading status is an extension of its historic importance, commending the role of the exhibition of the Kingdom's archeological masterpieces in briefing the world on this status. --SPA 12:58 LOCAL TIME 09:58 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w600047
