Riyadh, February 07, 2023, SPA -- The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has launched the “SCANIT” initiative, aiming at improving the safety of the technical devices imported to the Kingdom, enhancing the national modern systems testing capabilities and ensuring the efficiency of the supply chain. The initiative was launched during the LEAP Conference, in the presence of KACST Vice President of Future Economies Sector, Mariam Nouh, and Director General of Intel Corporation in Saudi Arabia Ahmad Al-Abd Al-Jabbar. This initiative, in cooperation with Intel, aims at protecting technological devices from penetration and a change in quality when transferred from the manufacturer to the Kingdom through the supply chain technology for PC and Laptops.
