NEOM, September 29, 2020, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, made a phone call today to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing his condolences on the death of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said during the call: "We have lost a dear brother and a leader who devoted his life to serve his homeland, Arab and Islamic nation and the human community. He had a distinguished position and esteem among the leaders and peoples of the world. We offer our condolences to all the peoples of the GCC and the Arab and Islamic nations." The King added that, he passed away after a journey full of achievements, may Allah bestow mercy upon his soul. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his congratulations to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on assuming power in the brotherly State of Kuwait, praying to Allah to help him to serve Kuwait and its people, affirming the Kingdom’s stand with Kuwait.
