Makkah, September 29, 2020, SPA -- The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque will implement numerous precautionary measures, after the decision to gradually allow the performance of Umrah, which will go into effect next Sunday. The Grand Holy Mosque will be sterilized 10 times a day, before and after each group of Umrah performers. Zamzam water will also be provided in closed bottles. The access to the Holy Kaaba and the Black Stone is prevented and Tawaf (circumambulation) will be performed outside the current existing barrier.
