Bahrain Announces Government Program to Balance Expenses and Revenues

Manama, Muharram 24, 1440, Oct 4, 2018, SPA -- The Ministerial Committee on Finance and Expenditure Control in the Kingdom of Bahrain headed by Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, announced the details of a government program aimed at balancing the governmental expenses and revenues by 2022 under the name of "Financial Balance Program". The program includes a range of initiatives to reduce governmental expenditures and increase the governmental revenues with the continuation of development and the attraction of investments. This came during the announcement of the initiatives of the Financial Balance Program at Al-Qudhibiya palace here today after the Kingdom of Bahrain signed the framework arrangements for financial cooperation on the financial balance program in Bahrain with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait, whereby the financial balance program will be supported and financed until 2022. --SPA 01:53 LOCAL TIME 22:53 GMT 0040 www.spa.gov.sa/w761043
