Saudi Arabia and South Korea sign agreement on developing statistical work in two countries

Riyadh, Muharram 03, 1440, September 13, 2018, SPA -- Statistics authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Korea today signed a joint working agreement dealing with ways of developing statistical aspects according to a memorandum of understanding the two sides have signed in Seoul last year and was later endorsed by the higher authorities in the two countries. Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Tikhaifi, President of Statistics authority, signed on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while Sangwook Choi, Deputy Commissioner for Statistics of Korea, signed for his country. Following the signing ceremony, Tayseer Al-Mufarraj, official spokesman of the Saudi Statistic authority, said that his organization has since long adopted benefiting from the international experience in the field, citing that the Saudi statistics authority is following a strategy of three-pronged dimensions: statistical, disseminational and technological.
