New York, Dhu-AlHijjah 26, 1439, Sep 6, 2018, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has participated in the organizational session of "The Global Pact for the Environment" held at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 5 to 7 September 2018. The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in New York, Dr. Khalid Manzalawi, delivered the Kingdom's speech on this occasion, in which he stressed the importance of this preparatory session, which comes within a series of negotiating sessions and seeks to address current gaps in international environmental law.
