Cairo, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 25, 1438, August 17, 2017, SPA -- Egypt denounced the stampede incident in Barcelona targeting a crowd of people in the Spanish city, in which scores of innocents were killed or injured. In a statement, the foreign ministry confirmed the stance of Egypt by the side of the Catalan government and people against all kinds of terrorism and extremism, calling on the world community to exert more concerted effort to get rid of the epidemic through drying up its sources and preventing offering harbors to its activists.
