Makkah, February 22, 2023, SPA – The Tafwij (group dispatch) and Crowd Management Agency at the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques has allocated 420 trained employees to organize the entry, exit and movement of Umrah performers and visitors inside the Grand Holy Mosque through tracks and gates allocated for their service according to standards and rates that take into consideration operational plans and times of arrival, as well as to guide worshippers towards designated places of worship. These employees have ample experience to deal with high numbers of people and guide worshippers in a manner that helps avoid overcrowding. Director General of the General Directorate of Tafwij Eng. Ryan bin Abdulkarim Saqti said that the tafwij and crowd management system at the Grand Holy Mosque operates around the clock with qualified human competencies that organise the movement of worshippers and Umrah performers in accordance with field plans for the tafwij, prepare reports and submit observations, necessary for the field work to see periodically to ensure the smooth movement of crowds, especially during the seasons witnessing a large number of visitors to the Grand Holy Mosque.
