Riyadh, March 29, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf launched today an appeal to the command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen and all Yemeni parties to stop military operations inside Yemen. This step emanates from the keenness of the GCC leaders and peoples to achieve peace and stability in Yemen and coincides with the launch of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations under the GCC auspices, which begin today, March 29, 2022, until April 7, 2022, and on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. This call seeks to create appropriate conditions for the success of the consultations and to create a positive environment during the blessed month of Ramadan to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
