According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of fatalities caused by this infection has increased by 4,205 over the past 24 hours, bringing the total count to 254,197. According to the ministry, since May 5, the country has recorded about 3 million new cases of the infection. Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has increased over 24 hours by 355,338, reaching 19,382,642.
