Riyadh, March 09, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health today reported five new cases of the new Coronavirus (COVID19). The ministry stated that three of the five cases were a male and two female citizens who were quarantined after their return from Iran and Iraq as laboratory tests showed that they were carrying the new Coronavirus (COVID19) and they were quarantined in a hospital in the Eastern Region. The ministry explained that the fourth case was a citizen with mild respiratory symptoms, and he came to a hospital in the Eastern Region, and he has been quarantined, and those in contact with him were identified and necessary preventive measures were taken towards them. The ministry added that the fifth case was a man of Egyptian nationality coming from the Arab Republic of Egypt, who showed mild respiratory symptoms as well, and he has been quarantined in a hospital in Makkah Region and those in contact with him were identified and necessary preventive measures were taken towards them. The ministry stated that with the new five cases, the total number of confirmed cases of the new Coronavirus in the kingdom is 20 cases. The Ministry of Health assures everyone that the cases are currently quarantined, being dealt with and provided with the health care in accordance to approved health procedures. The Ministry of Health called upon everyone who were in countries where the new Coronavirus is spread, to immediately communicate with the Health Service Center 937 for advice that protects them, their families and society.
