Spokesman for Coalition Forces confirms adherence to provisions and rules of international humanitarian law and accountability of violators of rules of engagement

London, February 12, 2020, SPA -- Colonel Turki al-Maliki, the Spokesman for the Coalition Forces for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, affirmed the force's commitment to the provisions and rules of international humanitarian law and the accountability of violators of the rules of engagement and violators of international humanitarian law. Al-Maliki said during a joint press session with the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen Mohammad bin Saeed Al Jaber here today, that the joint command of the coalition referred files of the results of investigations of incidents of presence of a mistake and violation of the rules of engagement to the concerned countries, indicating that the files include documents and evidence to complete the formalities on accountability. He pointed out that the judicial authorities have begun the procedures of the trial, and the judgments will be announced once they acquire the peremptory status.
