Riyadh, Muharram 25, 1437, November 07, 2015, SPA -- Border guard patrols in the northern centers affiliated to Yanbu sector in Madinah region foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 300 kilograms of hashish. Spokesman of Border Guard Captain Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi explained that the Border Guards managed on Friday to thwart an attempt to smuggle the drugs after suspecting two boats and closely following them within the territorial waters of the Kingdom. "After surrounding them by border patrol guards, the passengers of the two boats threw materials they were transporting in a coral, but they have been arrested. They are 4 persons, three Saudis and a Jordanian resident," he said. He added that the border guards recovered the materials that smugglers had dumped in the sea.
