Cairo, June 21, 2022, SPA – On the sidelines of the official visit of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, to Egypt, President of the Saudi Press Agency Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran and the CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, Director General of Rotana TV channels Abdullah Al-Shabana; and Member of the Board of Directors of SPA Adwan Al-Ahmari visited the headquarters of the Middle East News Agency (MENA). During a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of MENA Ali Hasan, they discussed means of cooperation between the two countries in the media and news sectors, the exchange of expertise to develop content, joint program production and training, as well as updates and various developments in the media industry. In remarks following the meeting, Al Aqran said SPA and MENA share the same objectives of spreading authentic news and reliable reports. For his part, Ali Hasan lauded the role of Egyptian and Saudi media outlets in strengthening the Inter-Arab ties on one hand and the Egyptian Saudi relations on the other.
