Cairo, August 31, 2020, SPA -- Egypt welcomed the initialling today of Juba Peace Agreement between the Transitional Government of Sudan, and armed movements, led by the Revolutionary Front, under the sponsorship of the government of the Republic of South Sudan. In a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Egypt affirmed its support for Sudan government in its relentless efforts to bring peace to the country, which would bring stability and prosperity to the Sudanese people.
