Riyadh, July 21, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial entitled "The Kingdom and its commitment to ensuring the security of the region'' wrote that the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to receive US forces comes at this juncture to confirm the Kingdom's responsibility for its pioneering role in protecting the security of the region and the world energy markets from any plan of the Iranian reckless regime, as well as it emphasizes the strength of United States-Saudi relations and continuing cooperation between the two countries. In the same context, Okaz newspaper commented on the King's decision to receive US forces, saying that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become one of the pillars of regional and Arab peace and security in the Arab region and the world in light of its geo-strategic, political and economic status and weight at regional, Arab, Islamic and international arenas.
