Occupied Jerusalem, Nov 29, 2018, SPA -- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Commissioner General Pierre Krahenbuhl has expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its unprecedented contribution of US$ 50 million to support UNRWA's main services. Krahenbuhl said that this Saudi unprecedented donation will contribute to UNRWA's efforts to raise global financial resources aimed at reducing its extraordinary fiscal deficit. He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with its humanitarian and development agencies, is an important and consistent partner of UNRWA.
