Washington,, Safar 23, 1440, November 01, 2018, SPA -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab states (GCC), Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, said that the future vision of the Middle East and North Africa region should be derived from the reality of challenges facing the region, pointing to the most important challenges facing the Middle East, which require a vision agreed upon by the countries of the region based on achieving security, stability and peace, as well as the preparation for a comprehensive strategy based on correlation and interdependence among the countries which are politically convergent. This came in an opening speech of the Secretary-General at Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference which began on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in Washington, DC, organized by the National Council for US-Arab Relations with the participation of a number of Arab ambassadors to the United States, US former ambassadors to Arab countries, and a number of intellectual , researchers, businessmen and media men from both sides.
