Kuwait, Jumada I 28, 1439 H., February 14, 2018, SPA --The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, called for redoubling efforts for supporting Iraq and developing its economy through investment and implementing of plans and projects that would rebuild it. In a speech at the first session of the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq, the GCC Secretary-General said that the GCC countries welcomed the last summit held in Kuwait through the initiative of the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to host the conference, expressing their support for Iraqi government in its efferts to combat terrorism and underscoring the importance of maintaining the unity and integrity of Iraqi.
