SFD Lays Foundation Stone for a Transport Development Project in Senegal

Dakar, February 12, 2023, SPA -- Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has laid the foundation stone for the Dakar-Saint Louis coastal road project (Part One “Dakar-Tivawan”) in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, in the presence of President of Senegal Macky Sall, Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nifaie, and several Senegalese officials. President Macky Sall delivered a speech at the event and thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for this development support, which reflects the close relations between the two countries, praising the great role played by the Saudi government through SFD to support development projects and programs and develop the transport and communication sector in Senegal, as it is one of the most important projects that connect cities and villages.
