Jeddah, May 16, 2022, SPA -- The Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed the confidence placed by the two Chambers of the Somali Parliament, the People's Assembly and the Senate, in Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who was elected as President of the Federal Republic of Somalia. OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha extended his sincere congratulations to the President elect, wishing him success in his mandate to achieve the aspirations of the Somali people.
