Jeddah, February 19, 2020, SPA -- Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) received here yesterday the delegation of British Technology and Smart Cities Trade, headed by the Director of Technology and Smart Cities Department for International Trade, James O’Hern. The two sides held a meeting to identify investment opportunities in technology sector and smart cities between the two countries. The meeting also discussed a number of topics, including investment opportunities in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, renewable energy systems, and different sectors related to smart cities. The Assistant Secretary-General of Business Sector in JCCI, Mazen Katabi, stated that these meetings play a major role in increasing Saudi investment opportunities in the United Kingdom, adding that strategic partnerships between the two countries will be in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
