Mina, Dhu-AlHijjah 12, 1439, Aug 23, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched an awareness message today, saying: "Dear Pilgrim, The Messenger (peace be upon him) said "Take from me your Manasik (rites of Hajj)". On the second day of Tashreeq Days (12th of Dhul-Hijjah), the pilgrims throw seven pebbles on each of the three Jamarat (Small, Middle and Largest Jamarat consecutively). When casting each pebble, the Pilgrims say Allahu Akbar. It is permissible for the pilgrims to supplicate to Allah at the Small and Middle Jamarat. The pebble-throwing starts after the decline of the sun until late in the night. The Pilgrims have the option to return to Makkah before sunset. But if the sun sets before the Pilgrims are able to depart, then they should remain in Mina for the third night and throw pebbles the next day." --SPA 11:09 LOCAL TIME 08:09 GMT 0001 www.spa.gov.sa/w737762
