Riyadh, Jumada I 25, 1439, February 11, 2018, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace here today the guests of National Festival for Heritage and Culture "Al-Janadriyah 32" including writers and intellectuals. The reception started with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. The King delivered a speech in which he said, I welcome you, dear guests, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the National Festival for Heritage and Culture in its 32nd session which embodies the Kingdom's heritage and culture and expresses our common desire to enhance interaction between different global cultures to achieve co-existence and tolerance among peoples based on common human foundations. Within this framework, I am pleased to welcome the participation of the friendly Republic of India as a guest of honor in this session. We recognize the importance of cultures as a cornerstone in forming the identity and values of nations. We see in the diversity and multiplicity of cultures and respect for the privacy of each culture as a demand for coexistence among peoples and the achievement of peace between nations. We emphasize the importance of the common human dimension in every culture away from the concept of clashes of cultures. The cultural dimension has become a fundamental pillar in relations between States and peoples, and it is important to strengthen it for the interest of the international peace and security. I welcome you once again to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing you all success. They all had lunch at the King's banquet.
