Bogota, Safar 21, 1437, December 03, 2015, SPA -- Colombian police seized a total of 949 kilogrammes of cocaine in two raids in the western part of the South American country, authorities said Wednesday, according to dpa. Colombia's Investigative Police (Dijin) said the first raid took place in Cabo Manglares, in the Narino province, resulting in the seizure of 419 kilogrammes of cocaine. The drugs were being transported in a speedboat to an unspecified location in Central America, presumably en route to the United States. Three Ecuadorian citizens and one Colombian were arrested in the raid, the Dijin said. An additional 530 kilogrammes of cocaine were seized on a speed boat in the Gulf of Uraba, near the Panamanian border, in a joint operation by the Dijin and the Colombian Navy. The drugs were being taken to Honduras en route to the United States and Europe, police said. --SPA 02:56 LOCAL TIME 23:56 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
