Riyadh, February 20, 2023, SPA -- The Saudi Export Development Authority, “Saudi Exports,” under the theme “Made in Saudi Arabia, participates in the Gulf Food Exhibition 2023, held at the Dubai World Trade Center between February 20 and 24, 2023, showcasing 55 national food companies in the “Saudi Industry” pavilion. The exhibition represents one of the most promising commercial opportunities for national companies and is the ideal platform for manufacturers, stakeholders, and researchers in the field of food. During the last edition, 2,531 companies from 162 countries participated in the exhibition, which was visited by nearly 60,000 people from 85 countries. The food industry is the third-highest exporter in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which exported an estimated SAR14.3 billion worth of food products in 2021. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) topped the list of countries importing food products from Saudi Arabia in 2021, followed by Kuwait. The "Saudi Exports" participates in this important event in support of manufacturers and exporters and searching for opportunities to improve the brand of the Kingdom's exports. It also seeks to strengthen its position in global markets, promote national goods and services in international markets, and link exporters with potential buyers.
