Eleventh Relief Plane Heads to Gaziantep International Airport as part of Saudi Airlift to Help Victims of Earthquake in Syria and Turkiye

Riyadh, February 15, 2023, SPA -- The eleventh Saudi relief plane has left King Khalid International Airport, heading to Gaziantep International Airport. Included on board were blankets, shelter bags, medical supplies such as intravenous fluids, solutions to treat dehydration, medications, painkillers, medicines for chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, medications for cold disease, sterilizers, and ointments to treat allergies and burns. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fatih Ulusoy, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom's government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for the generous Saudi aid provided to the earthquake victims in his country, which contributed to alleviating the suffering of the affected people and to provide for their emergency needs. This comes as part of the Saudi Relief Airlift, which is operated by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, to help those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkiye in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and as an embodiment of the noble humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. --SPA 21:13 LOCAL TIME 18:13 GMT 0038 www.spa.gov.sa/w1854824
