Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Holds First Council Meeting to Realize Digital Future for all

Riyadh, Apr. 11, 2021, SPA -- The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) announced that it will hold the organization’s inaugural Council Meeting. The meeting will take place virtually on April 12, 2021, it was reported here today. Announced last November, the DCO aims at realizing a digital future for all by empowering youths, women and entrepreneurs, growing the digital economy and leapfrogging with innovation. Leveraging digital synergies across the public sector and among businesses in the member countries, the DCO aims at increasing the GDP of member countries by cooperating across several high impact areas and leveraging the exponential scalability of the digital economy. The meeting will be attended by ICT and digital economy ministers, ITU Secretary-General, President of World Economic Forum, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and UNDP Chief Digital Officer.
