Riyadh, Oct 10, 2020, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf condemned Houthi militias for their ongoing continuation in committing terrorist acts systemically and deliberately by targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the deliberate launch of an explosive-laden drone to target civilian objects and civilians in the southern region today, on Saturday morning. He emphasized that these repeated, systematic and deliberate attacks by Houthi militias towards civilian objects and civilians in the liberated Yemeni governorates or in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirm the intentions of those militias and their supporters and their preference for war options, their unwillingness in putting an end to the Yemeni crisis and the suffering of the Yemeni people through the political solution according to the terms of references being represented by the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism as well as the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference in addition to the Security Council Resolution 2216. --More 22:30 LOCAL TIME 19:30 GMT 0020 GCC Secretary General Condemns Houthi Militia's Launching of Bomb-Laden UAV Towards Saudi Arabia 2 Riyadh Moreover, Dr. Al-Hajraf stressed that these terrorist acts not only target the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only, but also the security and stability of the Gulf region as it represents a flagrant violation of international laws and norms that prohibit the targeting of civilians and civilian objects.
