Jeddah, Feb. 1, 2020, SPA -- King Abdulaziz and Umm Al-Qura universitis have signed two cooperation agreements with German Merck Group in the field of training and qualifying Saudi pharmacists along with providing an opportunity for academic staff in both universities to conduct joint research projects. The agreements were signed by Dean of College of Pharmacy Dr. Hani Zakaria Asfour on behalf of Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz University and Dean of College of Pharmacy Dr. Faisal bin Atiq Al-Maliki for Makkah-based Umm Al-Qura University, while "German Merck" was represented by the director of the company's branch in the Kingdom Dr. Haitham Habashi. --SPA 19:56 LOCAL TIME 16:56 GMT 0004 www.spa.gov.sa/w1257789
