Riyadh, October 27, 2019, SPA -- Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi praised efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to achieve security, stability and establish peace in Yemen, besides its support for development and economy. The Yemeni president said the proposal of Riyadh agreement is an addition to the Saudi noble efforts to bring all Yemeni political constituencies and forces together, join efforts and resources in a united front to achieve the main objective: put down the Houthi coup and defeat Iran's scheme and tools in the region including the Houthi militia, the official Yemeni News Agency reported, this came today during his chairmanship of Riyadh meeting of his advisors. Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh provided a brief report about the discussions in the last period, and stressing that Saudi Arabia has exerted great efforts to reach the draft agreement, which confirmed keenness on the return of the state and its institutions and support for legitimacy under the leadership of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, putting emphasis on the three terms of reference including the GGC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and the UNSCRs namely 2216. The meeting welcomed the statement issued today by the command of the coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen and the repositioning of the coalition forces in Aden, led by Saudi Arabia. The meeting praised the efforts of President Hadi in the success and culmination of this agreement, as well as the efforts of the task team, which was keen to provide the interests of Yemen and preserve its unity and national constants and commitment to its terms of reference, national, regional and international.
