Berlin, June 05, 2019, SPA -- Eleven people were injured, two of them critically, when a hot air balloon crashed in north-western Germany on Tuesday, according to police. The pilot apparently lost control of the balloon when it was coming in to land near the town of Marsberg in Sauerland region. This caused the balloon's passenger basket to overturn about a metre from the ground, a police spokesman said late Tuesday, confirming an initial report in the Bild newspaper. There are indications that the basket was set alight. Those injured in the crash were said to have suffered burns, dpa reported. The pilot was among the injured. His balloon was carrying ten tourists from neighbouring Hesse state. --SPA 11:44 LOCAL TIME 08:44 GMT 0004 www.spa.gov.sa/w1114820
