Then, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli delivered a speech in which he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for patronizing the launching of the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program as a fruit of "The Kingdom's Vision 2030" which seeks to achieve a balanced economic and social development among the various segments of the society through the optimal and sustainable exploitation of renewable natural, agricultural and hydrological resources in several stages, starting from the first phase today until the year 2025. He pointed out that the program, since its adoption with an amount of 8.750 billion riyals in addition to 3 billion riyals from the Agricultural Development Fund, was rejoiced by farmers and their families across the regions of the Kingdom due to its social and economic benefits which exceed the allocated financial investments.
