Brussels, January 08, 2019 -- Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen announced here today that the Council of General Affairs of the European Union member states in its meeting, at the level of foreign minister and minister of European affairs, decided to impose new sanctions on Iran, because of the involvement of its security services, in attempts of terrorist attacks, in France and Denmark These measures demonstrate the need for a strong European foreign policy and to send a message to Tehran, that Brussels will not accept any kind of terrorist related involvement on the European soil and that it will defined the common values of Europe, the minister told reporters. -- SPA 21:01 LOCAL TIME 18:01 GMT 0015 www.spa.gov.sa/w817157
