Cairo, Dhu-AlHijjah 25, 1439, Sep 5, 2018, SPA -- Arab Economic and Social Council of the Arab League (AL) held a high-level meeting here today, headed by the Head of the Economic Relations Department, at the Iraqi Ministry of Commerce Adel Khudair Masoudi and the participation of representatives of Arab countries, general directors of joint Arab economic institutions and officials, at the ministries of finance to prepare draft resolutions for the economic and social fields, to be discussed at the ministerial session in Cairo tomorrow, Thursday. Al-Masoudi said in his address to the meeting that ways of enhancing economic cooperation among Arab countries will be discussed by working to remove the obstacles facing the Greater Arab Free Trade Zone and raising the volume of inter-Arab trade, especially since the Arab region has many elements similar to major economic entities, in the world.
