Riyadh, June 6, 2022, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) today signed an agreement with International War and Disaster Victims Protection Association (IPV) to enhance healthcare services to Syrian refugees and the host community in Bebnine town in Aakkar Governorate in Lebanon, which will benefit 15,000 individuals. KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Beez signed the agreement at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh. Director of the Health and Environmental Aid Department at KSrelief Abdullah Al-Muallem, in a press statement, noted that the agreement stipulates offering healthcare services, psychological, social and nutrition support, participating in routine vaccination campaigns, offering free medicines for Syrian refugees and Lebanese citizens in Aakkar and its countryside according to correct standards, developing the national system for health information and data management, supporting existing national programs such as tuberculosis and HIVSTI related to infectious diseases and the speed of its detection and referring them to concerned institutions, raising health and nutrition awareness, enhancing hygiene, and limiting the spread of epidemic, infectious and communicable diseases. --SPA 18:16 LOCAL TIME 15:16 GMT 0023 www.spa.gov.sa/w1743215
