Saudi Press: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Speech Confirms Kingdom's Approach towards World

Riyadh, May 14, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers reported in their editorials that the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr confirmed the Kingdom's directions and approach towards Arab, Islamic, and whole worlds, and to be a safe, stable and prosperous lands in light of the pandemic that swept the world. The papers said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showed an unprecedented international integration by leading the presidency of the G20 summit with wisdom and ability, and contributed to taking the world to broad horizons to overcome the pandemic at all levels. The papers added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has being honored by hosting the Two Holy Mosques, that which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has praised the role of serving pilgrims and Umrah performer, confirming, in his speech, that the measures taken by the Kingdom’s government this year were aimed at providing the highest safety standards in light of the pandemic. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Presidency of State Security warned of arising collecting illegal donations from unknown parties which goes in dangerous paths, including financing terrorism, money laundering, drugs, human trafficking. The paper pointed out that, in the past years, the authorities in more than one country have managed to seizing such groups that collect financial donations through social media under the context of humanitarian work to employ it in founding terrorist organizations and gangs.
